I'm a practicing behavioral health clinician and have lived in Colorado since 2008. Before moving to Denver in 2013, I lived on Colorado's Western Slope in Gunnison and Montrose for five years.
I began providing mental health and substance abuse treatment in 2004 in a variety of settings. In 2005, I completed my Master’s degree in Counseling at Texas Woman’s University.
In 2009, I began offering treatment via an integrated approach, which means I provide you, as my patient, the most comprehensive treatment options. For some patients, this includes coordinating care with other members of their medical care team, if desired.
In 2016, I started my own private therapeutic practice.
That same year, I also began executive coaching and organizational consulting focused on best practices for how to integrate healthcare at all levels to the benefit of the practitioner and the patient.
I've been involved with SIM, TCPi, and MAT initiatives in Colorado. I'm also currently contracting with two national companies outside Colorado on behavioral health integration in primary care practice.
Finally, starting in 2019, I co-hosted the podcast "Integrated Care, Stat!", in partnership with my friend and colleague Heather Walker, MA-ILT. Together, we started Walker G Productions which provides voice-overs for online training programs and professional interviewing, in addition to podcast production.
I feel so fortunate to have had the continued support of my family friends through all of my professional endeavors and adventures.
I'm looking forward to meeting you to see how we can work together to support your well-being.
